Publicity of Work
 
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology guarantees publicity of work in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia (Articles 50 and 51), the Mass meda Act, and the Act on the Access to Information of Public Character.
 
Public relations activities include planning, organizing and performing professional and organizational tasks related to public information, including the promotion and support of the image of the ministry.
 
The public nature of work is ensured by:

• providing media with timely and accurate information and communications covering the areas of work of the ministry,
• preparing press conferences and press releases, 
• announcing events and activities, 
• publishing relevant issues on the web sites. 

Tasks in the field of public relations include:

• performing professional and organizational tasks of informing the public and media on the work of the ministry,
• carrying out professional and organizational tasks aimed at presenting the activities of the ministry,
• organizing and preparing the press conferences, 
•  preparing materials for media and drafting press releases,
•  planning and preparation of various events and projects for better informing the public,
• performing professional and organizational general promotion tasks, web sites management.
